Faithful steps....

As a Christian, I believe that God has a specific purpose for my life, and that includes my desire to start a family. Today, I began taking my first round of fertility medication, and I feel a mix of excitement and nervousness about what's to come.

Taking clomid and metformin to regulate my ovulation and insulin levels is overwhelming but knowing that God is with me every step of the way brings me comfort. With my unicornuate uterus, only one of my ovaries is connected to my fallopian tube, making conception a little more challenging. However, I trust that God has a plan for my fertility journey, and I pray that during my ultrasound, we'll see my left side ovulating so we can move forward with the next steps of Intrauterine insemination (IUI).

In times of anxiety or uncertainty, I turn to prayer and scripture for strength and guidance. I find solace in knowing that God is walking with me through this journey, no matter what lies ahead.

Reflecting on my journey, one of my favorite life anthem songs recently is "Gonna Be Alright" by Ryan Ellis. The lyrics speak to the comfort and peace that we can find in Jesus, even during challenging circumstances:

You are the strength when I am weak

The only one that leads my soul to perfect peace

And I will sing my way through the night

The words that bring me back to life

Everything's gonna be alright

Everything's gonna be alright

You hold me in Your arms

Until my storm is calm

These words bring me comfort and remind me that I'm never alone. I trust in God's plan and timing, and I believe that with faith, hope, and perseverance, we'll achieve our goal of starting a family.

To those who are also on a fertility journey, I want to offer encouragement and support. It can be a difficult and emotional road, but I believe that with faith and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle.

Remember that you are not alone. God is with you, and there are others who understand the challenges you are facing. Seek out a supportive community of friends, family, or even online groups where you can share your experiences and find comfort in the words of others.

Most importantly, hold onto hope. Trust that God has a plan for your life, and that includes your journey to start a family. Keep your faith strong and your eyes focused on Jesus, even in the midst of setbacks or disappointments.

I believe that with God's help, we can achieve our dreams of starting a family. Keep pushing forward, stay strong in your faith, and know that you have a community of support and encouragement behind you. Together, we can overcome any obstacle and reach our goals.
