Holding onto hope....

Experiencing infertility can be a challenging journey, but it's important to hold onto hope, and seek guidance from trusted experts. My husband and I recently visited Dr. Blohm, a fertility specialist in Savannah, and we left our appointment feeling hopeful about the future.

Dr. Blohm discussed the two primary options available to us - IUI and IVF. While the cost of IVF at $13,000 was daunting, IUI was more reasonable at $500, we felt reassured by Dr. Blohm's knowledge and passion. He helped us to understand the pros and cons of each option and provided guidance on the best course of action for our situation.

The first step for us was to have our hormone levels checked, which will help Dr. Blohm determine the best approach for our journey. While it can be nerve-wracking to begin this process, we are both feeling optimistic about the road ahead.

As a believer in God, I find comfort in the knowledge that He has a plan for my life, even if I don't always understand it. One verse that resonates with me during this time is Proverbs 16:9 - "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." This reminds me that although I may have my own plans and desires, ultimately it is God who is guiding my path.

Another verse that brings me hope is Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This reminds me that even in the face of uncertainty, God has a good plan for my life, and He will guide me through it.

Experiencing infertility can be an isolating experience, but finding a trusted expert like Dr. Blohm has given my husband and me hope for the future. With his guidance and God's plan, we know that our dreams of starting a family will come true. For those experiencing similar struggles, it's important to remember that you are not alone, and that there is always hope for the future.Â
